Service Expectations

This page explains how Green Things Landscaping generally handles estimates, scheduling, project fit, service expectations, and basic payment terms. The goal is to keep communication clear and reduce misunderstandings from the start.

Owner-Operated & Project-Based

Green Things Landscaping is an owner-operated business focused on practical lawn care, cleanups, small cleanouts, and small property maintenance for homeowners, rentals, and smaller properties. Many jobs are one-time, seasonal, or project-based. Some recurring work may be available depending on location, route, and schedule.

Some larger, heavier, or more involved jobs may be reviewed case by case depending on scope, access, debris volume, equipment needs, travel, and overall project fit.

Estimates

Free estimates are available. Estimates are based on the information provided, including photos, property location, access details, job description, debris volume, overgrowth, and site conditions.

Estimate ranges, rough pricing, or initial discussions are not final guarantees if important details were missing or if site conditions are different than expected.

Photos & Job Details

Photos and a simple description of the work help speed up the estimate process and reduce confusion. Customers are encouraged to share anything important that may affect the job, including access issues, gates, stairs, pets, obstacles, overgrowth, debris, or special timing needs.

Scheduling

Scheduling depends on location, project type, weather, workload, access, and current route. Requested dates or timeframes are treated as preferred timing, not automatic guarantees, until confirmed.

Green Things Landscaping may need to adjust scheduling due to weather, unsafe conditions, access issues, project changes, equipment needs, or other practical delays.

Access & Site Conditions

Customers should disclose anything that may affect access or job safety, including locked gates, narrow access points, pets, steep grades, hidden objects, wet ground, loose debris, or heavy overgrowth. Jobs may be delayed, adjusted, or declined if site conditions are unsafe or not as expected.

Scope Changes

If the scope of the job changes after the estimate or after work begins, pricing, timing, and availability may also change. Extra work, additional debris, added haul-away, or different site conditions may require updated approval before continuing.

Payment

Accepted payment methods may include cash, check, tap-to-pay, major credit/debit cards, and in some cases secure QuickBooks invoice payment. Payment expectations may vary depending on the type of project.

For some larger or more involved jobs, a deposit, staged payment, or agreed payment timing may be required before scheduling or completion.

Service Area Fit

Green Things Landscaping is based in Montgomery, NY and may be available for work throughout nearby Orange County areas. One-time and project-based work farther out may still be considered depending on travel, project type, and overall fit. Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee availability.

Communication

Text is often the fastest way to communicate about estimates and scheduling. Customers may also use the quote page, email, or WhatsApp Business. Clear communication helps reduce delays and confusion.
